MTAG serves as a critical bridge between scientific research and practical implementation in coastal resilience planning. A NOAA requirement, MTAG comprises key decision-makers and stakeholders who translate scientific findings into actionable coastal policy, planning, and infrastructure decisions.
The MTAG group will provide the following core functions:
- Facilitate knowledge transfer between researchers and policy implementers
- Guide development of practical applications from scientific data
- Ensure research outputs align with stakeholder needs
- Provide feedback for iterative project improvement
